Tamil Nadu Day 2024 Conference on 01.12.24 at Frankfurt, organized by Europe Tamilargal (Federation), Indian Tamil Diaspora Associations of Germany in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, and hosted by Frankfurt Tamil Sangam e.V was celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation.
The event, held to honor and celebrate Tamil culture and heritage, saw a diverse gathering of attendees 400+ attendees including 107 Students.
Frankfurt Tamil Sangam warmly welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude for their presence. He highlighted the significance of the event and the collaborative efforts that made it possible.
The event was graced by the esteemed Honourable Consul General Thiru B. S. Mubarak, IFS, Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, whose presence, and support were deeply appreciated. Distinguished guests from Tamil Nadu, including Honourable Minister Thiru R. Sakkarapani, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, and Honourable Minister Thiru Dr. TRB Rajaa, Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce attended this prestigious occasion.
Representatives from the Tamil Nadu Government’s Non-Resident Tamil Welfare (NRT) and Thiru B. Krishna Moorthy, I.O.F.S., Commissionerate of Rehabilitation & Welfare of Non-Residents, were acknowledged for their valuable insights and contributions.
The event also featured discussions on the FaMe TN Initiative and investing in Tamil Nadu, led by representatives from the Tamil Nadu Government’s MSME Department and the General Secretary of SICCI.
A highlight of the event was the panel discussion led by Mr. Nirmal Kumar and his esteemed panel members, including Mr. Vijay Praveen, Mr. Siddhartha, Mr. Arun Damodharan, Mr. Daniel Raja, and Mrs. Porkodi Krishnan and Student session led by Mr. Srinath Paramesh and Mr. Nagakumar along with 15 Mentors team.
They shared their experiences and insights on setting up and running successful businesses in Germany, providing valuable guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs.
The event also saw enthusiastic participation from 107 students, whose presence was acknowledged as vital to the success of the celebration.
The dedication and hard work of the volunteers were commended, as their efforts were crucial in making the event a grand success.
The Tamilnadu Day celebration concluded with a call to continue celebrating Tamil culture and heritage with pride and unity.
Attendees left with a sense of community and shared purpose, looking forward to future events that bring the Tamil diaspora together.
